HOW much longer is Ferryhill Town Council prepared to flout the law in respect to public access to council meetings?
At the last council meeting six members of the public were admitted, while at least twice that number were turned away.
We were told that there is no wheelchair access to the only room capable of accommodating a reasonable number of the general public. My question is, if not, why not? It would not involved "rocket science" to install a chair lift, and in so doing, comply with legislation covering the subject.
A Holmes, Ferryhill.
