I HAVE seen dramatic photographs of St Paul's Cathedral set against a blazing sky during the Second World War following the German air bombardment of London.
This wonderful building remained largely intact and, more importantly, open to the public during those terrible times. It showed that the British people were defiant and unbeatable.
Last month St Paul's closed its doors to the public. Not because of an alien invading force but of an evil, invidious home grown enemy- rent-a-rabble.
This human quagmire of an anti-capitalist, anti-government and generally anti everything pitched tents outside the Cathedral, causing mayhem and general disruption to daily life.
This crowd, which incidentally has a branch under Grey's Monument, in Newcastle, are to be found at demonstrations throughout the land, hell bent on causing trouble of one kind or another.
The naive Church of England, batting completely out of its league gave them the benefit of Christian charity. This backfired spectacularly.
Why do we allow that bunch of wasters to remain unaffected by their actions?
Irrespective of the bad publicity generated by Left Wing media correspondents this group of sub-humans should be removed with whatever force is necessary.
Civilised society cannot go on being disrupted by the great unwashed.
Colin T Mortimer,
Pity Me.
