CAN this really be true? The Government’s borrowing has fallen by a thumping £1bn in September?
But don’t get too excited – the only reason why borrowing has suddenly decreased is that the Government is no longer borrowing real money.
It prints toy notes via the Bank of England, instead.
This year alone £75bn of this “play money” has been printed, with another bundle of several billions on standby.
The Coalition think running the country is like playing the board game Monopoly: the classy Park End and Mayfair properties represent MPs lavish second homes.
The downtrodden Old Kent Road represents all the money the Coalition has brutally stripped from the poor and disabled.
The four train stations are symbols of the 1,400 lost Bombardier train construction jobs which were contracted out to German group Siemens.
And the electric company is a cruel reminder of David Cameron’s promise to help the old folk with their heating bills and then insults them by sending out feeble literature on home insulation.
