A FANTASTIC music festival takes place in North Yorkshire every year, and many people flock to the Richmond Live festival which this year is on August 5-6.
Indie chart stars The Hoosiers are headlining on the Saturday and Darlington ska band The G Men will also be appearing. Other acts include The Atlantic Soul Messengers and Aluminio Roots among others. Pandora And The Wolves and Tigers That Talked are just two of many acts playing on the Friday.
Staged at The Batts in Richmond, this annual outdoor event has the usual stalls and bars selling a delightful range of beers.
If you are free then come along and bring the family as children are welcome.
Admission costs are £3 on the Friday and £5 for the Saturday.
Other acts that have played at this festival over the years include Bad Manners and John Otway. While most music festivals charge a fortune for admission, Richmond Live prove that you can enjoy yourselves at an affordable price.
