A YOUTH centre in David Cameron’s plush Oxfordshire constituency is facing immediate closure if it fails to find £7,500 to pay its rent and electricity for the month ahead.
The youth centre which Cameron described as one of the strongest examples of the “Big Society” at work is now on the verge of closure following a dip in public donations.
If this community-funded project failed in Cameron’s own affluent back yard, what hope of it working elsewhere?
The “Big Society” has failed from start to finish. These are the moments in the life of a Government when the penny must surely drop.
Only trouble is, Cameron is last to hear the clink.
