THE EU has a culture of secrecy.

For example, Belgian Finance Minister Didler Regders now admits that when Greece entered the euro in 2001, it was known that false statistics distorted Greece’s economic suitability. Its present plight was therefore partly predictable.

On internal EU matters, both secrecy and corruption have long been the norm.

MEPs are currently defying instructions from their own chief auditor, Mr Robert Galvin, and a court order from their own judges which demands they present a report on their expenses.

Apparently, payments of £185m in MEP’s expenses cannot be matched to receipts.

The EU continues to squander our money without restraint. In recent years £100m has gone on embassy buildings such as the £3m embassy in Fiji.

Yet some of our own treacherous Labour and Liberal MEPs actually backed the EU’s demand for a five per cent increase in its budget, an end to national rebates and the introduction of EU taxes.

The EU is a politician’s gravy train. As we don’t need the EU to enable our trade, we must be completely crazy to put up with it. Vote UKIP.
