DAVID CAMERON’S Father’s Day message to maintain the state’s war on fathers just proves how out of touch our political elite are.
I used to be a Fathers 4 Justice activist. Not all fathers are feckless.
I spent seven years going through the family courts for the right of my children to have a relationship with their loving father, to no avail.
Why can’t politicians and judges come down hard on mothers who refuse to comply with court orders? Why are they all anti-dad?
What is needed is a legal presumption to contact enshrined in law – as proposed by the British National Party.
Until there is a level playing field in English family law, I am afraid many more fathers will not have the emotional strength to fight on, but instead, sadly walk away.
Pete Molloy, British National Party.
