I HAVE no interest in praising or disparaging celebrities – even those in the monarchy.
I would prefer a monarchy than a republic where someone like Sarah Palin might be elected.
There should be a serious discussion about the constitution. The continued existence of the monarchy and the House of Lords should not be excluded.
I do not understand why such subjects do not come up for review from time to time, but, it appears to me, to even get it on the agenda is as difficult as trying to move a mountain Reading The Northern Echo I wonder if the newspaper is constrained by a court order. I am sure that it would not be in the public interest.
