HOW will competition in the NHS work?
If North Tees Hospital develops a new cheaper treatment, will it keep it to itself and not let South Tees Hospital into the secret?
If we have competition, will North Tees have a huge waiting list for my hypothetical treatment because all patients will be referred there to save money, while the equivalent system in South Tees languishes unused?
The Government seems to have no faith in anything but competition, but will there be a level playing field when all of the competitors will be cherry picking the easy tasks, using staff – all initially trained by the NHS?
