IMAGINE a country when...
• The economy cannot meet the needs of the people.

• Jobs are continually exported to less developed countries.

• Immigration is uncontrolled so more chase fewer jobs.

• House prices are beyond the reach of most people.

• Legal and illegal money lenders charge any amount they want to borrowers.

• Financial frauds mis-selling insurance, credit and mortgages etc are common place.

• Health and education are commodities to be sold for profit.

• Gas, electricity, fuel and food prices continually rise.

• Minimum wages are imposed on most workers with no pension provision.

• Increased taxes on spending hit poor people hardest.

• Millionaire bankers are bailed out by closing care homes and public services.

• Young people don’t believe they’ll ever have a job or a house and can’t afford university education.

• Graduates are working in supermarkets.

• Drug and alcohol abuse is growing.

• Successive governments allowed or, in some cases, made this happen.

Can you name that country?
