AM I the only one that thinks that the Government has it’s priorities the wrong way round?
They appear to give everything to young people who have done very little, if anything, for this country – apart from keeping the pushchair manufacturing industry going.
What does the Government give the elderly, many of whom have fought for this country, paid taxes and worked all their lives?
It gives them bus passes, then stops the buses.
The Government says that the cuts will be over in four years but many elderly people will not be here in four years. So what will they get? Nothing, again.
Some elderly people have already suffered four years of hardship when they went abroad for to fight for this country in the Second World War. Many are now in nursing homes that are facing closure.
