TWO hundred people visited the history exhibition held at the Ferryhill cemetery, and now the town council is set to make it permanent.
In a town with a population approximately 13,500, 200 visitors represents just 1.48 per cent.
Can we afford to spend more money on yet another good idea?
It is time the councillors spent more effort trying to save money, not looking for excuses to spend more. After all, they are only custodians of the town’s finances.
