I THINK the Government needs to look at the tax it is charging pensioners.

People work hard and pay their taxes up to retirement age.

Then, instead of being left to enjoy their retirement, the Government taxes their pensions as well.

It is ridiculous. The price of living has gone up and people who are working are struggling, We need to be seen to look after pensioners and let them enjoy their retirement instead of fleecing them.

I HAVE been robbed by pensions legislation and, I suspect, I was one of many in a similar situation.

I am a twin and my female sibling collected her pension at 60.

Sadly for me, I had to wait until I reached 65.

Now was that fair?
