IN response to V Flanagan (HAS, 10 May), I am heartened by the fact that he knows the correct use of car indicators.

However, in my original letter I referred to “motorists in Darlington”, not motorists from Darlington.

There is a significant minority of drivers in Darlington who do not use indicators correctly when at roundabouts, junctions or changing lanes.

As I spend the majority of my time in Darlington, I feel that I have the right to complain about this fact.

On a lighter note, I am pleased that V Flanagan feels that Stapleton is an idyllic village.

Should I ever decide to sell up and move from “paradise”, then it should add a few thousand pounds to the asking price.

Lee Norman, Stapleton.
