LOOKING at the at the coalition’s plans for the NHS and the responsibilities handed to GPs, I was wondering if the Government will be bringing in a new university qualification combining medicine, bookkeeping, accountancy, business marketing, admin and social care skills.
This would prepare our doctors for the 16-hour, seven-day working week that will be the norm for them.
Of course, they will have to do a ten-year stint at university to qualify, but the money-making opportunities are endless.
I suppose the downside to this plan is the majority of doctors just want to be, erm, doctors.
