I FAIL to see why certain documents regarding the invasion of Iraq will be held back from the public (Echo, Jan 19).
If Tony Blair or George Bush had been Bosnian or Serbian the United Nations would be holding them both on war crimes charges.
It is impossible to justify more than 100,000 civilian casualties, and the loss of so many British and American servicemen and women, just to go after one man.
It is often said the end justifies the means – but not in this case.
