I WOULD like to add my comments to the tributes paid to the late Susannah York.

She once played a season with great team spirit starring as the Prince in a star-studded production of Cinderella at Richmond, Surrey.

Dame Anna Neagle was the fairy godmother, and a very young Patsy Kensit was Cinderella.

I was fortunate to be the company manager and well remember the fun we had bringing such a great story to the stage.

Some time later, Susannah and Hayley Mills introduced me to Liza Minelli after a show at the London Palladium.

I shall never forget Susannah’s professionalism or her kindness. She will be greatly missed by every one who knew her and all her fans.

Les Jobson, Richmond.
