DUE to financial problems and not communicating with his family, my 62-year-old brother went missing from his Darlington home on Thursday, October 14.
Thanks to a chain of kind people he is now safe and happy, back in his own home, his problems now solved.
I would like to send a big thank-you to the person who alerted the police at Yarm where he was found; PC Prosser and PC March, of Cleveland Police (who brought him to our house on Sunday last week); the doctor and staff at Dr Piper House, Darlington; Steve, from Age UK in Clark’s Yard, Darlington; and the lovely ladies at Darlington Town Hall housing department.
How different the outcome could have been without these wonderful people. It does not bear thinking about. Everyone, please remember, help is out there if you need it.
Name supplied, Darlington.
