GH GRIEVESON wondered whether the Reverend Peter Mullen is a “wind-up merchant”
(HAS, May 4). Sadly, I am afraid to say that the Echo columnist does not qualify.
Anyone looking him up on the internet using Google will find a selection of his homophobic and anti-Islamic diatribes from sermons, speeches and other articles of one sort and another.
The fact that he was censured by his own church superiors and made to apologise for one particularly offensive homophobic rant shows that he is not a “wind-up merchant”.
