THIS present Labour Government spent 700-plus hours of parliamentary time to bring in an imperfect law banning hunting with dogs.
If that time had instead been used debating and considering an energy policy for this country we would not now be facing the disastrous prospect of power cuts and blackouts in a few short years’ time.
Nor would we be wasting billions of pounds in erecting next-to-useless wind farms which will never benefit the country or the environment.
Time has run out and the opportunity to have a workable, affordable energy policy has been lost.
So, in the near future, when sitting in your cold, dark home on a windless, winter night, think about it.
