DES More wrote a rather puzzling letter (HAS, Jan 19).
Claiming that Margaret Thatcher had inherited an appalling legacy he suggests that she made the right, but unpopular decisions.
However, earlier he had suggested that John Major had to deal with the recession of 1990-92. Where did this come from? Surely not from Mrs Thatcher who made the previously mentioned right, but unpopular decisions? Perhaps her decisions were not so right after all?
