THE Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has charged Tottenham Hotspur FC manager Harry Redknapp with two offences of “cheating the public revenue”, adding that the charges were “in the public interest” (Echo, Jan 15).
How soon will the CPS bring similar charges “in the public interest” for the hundreds of thousands pounds our MPs have avoided paying over the years?
