AS a result of the latest coup-bid “silliness” surrounding Gordon Brown he claims he is determined and resolute in the contribution he has to make to the future of “our party and the country” (Echo, Jan 11).
I believe that this is questionable because if he is really serious in his intentions surely he would put “country” before “party”.
Or could this actually show that his loyalties really lie with a very small clique of privileged fellow travellers and not to the rest of us?
