I ENJOYED Peter Barron’s review of 2009 in his extended From the Editor’s Chair column (Echo, Dec 28), but was rather concerned to come across a swearword (part of) previously unknown to me: “kn*b” as quoted by celebrity Jordan.
Try as I might, I could only come up with one word, though I could think of at least four if I missed off the “k”. Does this mean that it is no longer acceptable as a Scrabble word – or is the answer to the clue: “Turn it”?
