FIRST, the Labour Party copies the BNP slogan of “British jobs for British workers”. Then, a few days ago I got a leaflet through my door from the Liberal Democrats which, in large print, copies the BNP slogan of “Putting local people first”.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I always say.

If the Lib Dems cannot think for themselves when it comes to making up slogans or anything else, I’d be happy to help them – for a consideration.

I’m sure they’d be able to afford my fees, given that they’ve been allowed to keep the £2.4m they got from a company owned by convicted fraudster Michael Brown.

Incidentally, the above leaflet was delivered by post: there’s no need for party activists to trudge through the snow delivering leaflets when you’re backed by millionaires.
