THE Prostate Cancer Charity would like to send a huge thank-you to everyone in Darlington who turned out to cheer on the professional cyclists competing in the summer’s Tour of Britain.
As the official charity partner we were there to support the cyclists as well as raise funds and awareness about the UK’s most common cancer among men.
The people of Darlington were very generous and dug deep into their pockets to raise £946. It was fantastic to see them showing their support, on Sunday, September 13, as well as the crowds along the race route from Darlington to Newcastle.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a great day in so many ways. If anyone would like more information about prostate cancer phone our confidential Helpline on 0800 074 8383, or visit our website at www.prostate-cancer.org.uk.
