I WROTE to the Secretary of State on July 4 to express my concerns about the position of Stockton Sixth Form College where a proposed £22m new building plan was hit by a lack of government funding.
When I did not get a response I wrote again on September 17, including a copy of my previous letter. To date, I have not had a response to the questions I raised.
I have written again asking for a response as a matter of urgency. The predicament that the college was left in is a matter of concern to the people of Stockton, particularly the younger generation and their families who are missing out on the developments that were planned.
The Department for Education and Skills may be a busy one, but I think four months is far too long for at least an acknowledgement of my inquiry.
