AT the age of almost 85 I recently underwent a hip replacement operation. I have been amazed at the lack of pain involved and hope any readers awaiting such an operation will lose any anxiety.
I was in hospital just five days – one extra because of taking warfarin. I have complied with instructions about exercises and found no problems. Thank you, NHS.
