IT’S good to see that the people of Brancepeth have got their 30mph speed limit (Echo, October 21).
I just hope it’s enforced better than the one in Howden-le-Wear.
I’d guess that some 200 to 300 vehicles per hour break the speed limit on Bridge Street, and in the 40 years I’ve lived here I haven’t heard of one prosecution.
