I AM led to believe that Jacqui Smith is to be elevated to the House of Lords.

If this is true what a shameful, arrogant bunch this Labour Government is. It seems if you are incompetent at your job, have creative expense claim skills, a brass neck and no shame, you go to the House of Lords.

What a house of ill-repute this upper chamber is becoming. It’s filling up with really dubious characters.

If the Lords were a public house it wouldn’t get a licence.
