AFTER destroying the country’s private pension schemes, denying us a vote on the EU “Treaty”, masterminding the collapse of the UK economy and presiding over a corrupt Parliament, I didn’t think that Gordon Brown could lower himself any further.
But he has managed to do exactly that by denying us the opportunity to hear in public evidence to be given to the inquiry into the Iraq war.
Those who lost loved ones and those brave soldiers condemned to live the rest of their lives without limbs or eyesight must be sickened by this decision.
And by carefully timing the release of the final report to follow the next General Election he has avoided the political fallout from proof of his complicity in the erroneous decision to commit our forces.
In comparison with this man, Robert Mugabe is a paragon of virtue.
