STILL the MPs’ expenses scandal rumbles on. May I suggest less talk by supposedly indignant party leaders and a bit more positive action – they should gag the next MP who insists “I have done nothing wrong”.
If that is their defence, then they are morally bankrupt if apparently not financially.
And they still can’t let go of the purse strings as with hand-wringing pleas they offer to step down – but not before they get their share of the golden handshake and pension pot.
What cynical hypocrites they all are. This privilege should be denied them until they can prove they really have done nothing wrong.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle, no doubt they are all laughingly going to the same banks as the bankers they indignantly called greedy. I guess it takes one to know one.
