RE your story about 87-year-old Nina MacAulay, of Drumbeg, Scotland, threatening to hand back eight medals she and her late husband won during the Second World War in disgust at the MPs’ expenses scandal (Echo, May 21).
May I suggest she wears those medals every time she goes out as she has something to be proud of – namely giving to the country and not taking.
