I WISH to congratulate the Government for awarding Playbuilder status to Durham County Council (Echo, April 16) and the council choosing Newton Hall, Durham, as one of the areas for a new play area in the first year’s programme.
I am sure that the people and the children of Newton Hall will be pleased with a new children’s play area and will be looking forward to seeing the facility opened.
