RE the recent £250 payments to Crown Prosecution Staff employees in London for managing to get into work during adverse weather conditions on February 2.
What about the police, fire service, doctors, nurses, paramedics, carers, etc. They, along with myself, provide services 24 hours per day, every day of the year and, yes, they too went the extra mile and got to work during the same conditions – and many of these jobs involve driving during the time they spend at work.
Will they be rewarded with a payment from the tax they pay each month to the Government from their salaries? Not likely.
