I WOULD like to draw the attention of Ms Jacquie Bell, the Liberal Democrat candidate for Stockton South, who wrote about a doorstep survey over the credit crunch (HAS, April 7), to an article in the same day’s Business Echo by Anthony Platts about the state of the stock market.
In addition to the welcome whistles and chirps of springtime, there are new sounds to be heard – those of Conservatives counting chickens before they hatch and Lib Dems flogging very dead horses.
