HOORAY for the whistleblowers exposing MPs’ expenses.
We are going to have a lean time with increased council tax, etc, while greedy MPs award themselves a 2.33 per cent pay rise. As stated in Sharon Griffiths’ column (Echo, April 1): “The arrogance and pettiness of MPs when it comes to their expenses defies belief.”
When challenged to explain their expenses they usually give a smirk which seems to say “we’re in charge and you can’t do anything about it”.
They are just asking for more violent demonstrations.
