RE your item in your 7Days supplement (Echo, June 26) about Mikal Blue, the Bishop Auckland-born pop producer who has spent 20 years in the US guiding others to stardom and whose debut album, Gold, will be released on Monday.
Congratulations to a Bishop lad (Michael Waggitt as was before he changed his name) who has made good and best wishes for the release of his album.
I remember he first featured in The Northern Echo in the late 1970s and he was very popular at King James I School.
