THE Co-operative Pharmacy is giving away grants totalling £20,000 to health projects in the North-East, and time is running out for readers to claim their share.
Health-related causes can apply for cash awards of between £100 and £2,000, simply by completing application forms available in local Co-operative Pharmacy branches.
Beneficiaries might be a local hospital, hospital ward or hospice, or perhaps a support group or local health-related appeal. Any group working to promote health in the region can apply.
We are looking for applicants whose work addresses the needs of local people and for whom such a grant would make a real difference.
It is a wonderful opportunity.
The closing date for applications is Friday, October 26, and details are available in local Co-operative Pharmacy branches.
Frank Woods, Regional Manager, The Co-operative Pharmacy.
