AGAIN we read of the denial on cost grounds of medicines to critically sick people, but it comes as no surprise that this only applies to residents of England.
Time after time we read of this situation - ie, nurses, police and prison officers' pay awards, retired people having to sell their homes to fund care and students having to pay for tuition. There are no doubt other examples of which ordinary English people are unaware.
Doesn't the fact that the other three UK countries pay these rises and fees immediately indicate they are getting more than their fair share of the pool of financial resources?
This proves that any allocation formula is suspect and should be dropped now and correct payments made so that equality exists between all UK countries.
As the only country without a national party I pose the question: "Should England have an ENP (English National Party)?"
Can anyone tell me how we have arrived at such an unfair state, or is it just coincidence that England had a foreign Chancellor and now has a foreign Prime Minister?
