DID you watch the Pavarotti tribute concert on BBC2 last Thursday night? What a wonderful tribute to a gifted man whose voice gave pleasure to millions.
However, my main point is that the thousands of people in the New York park audience in the 1990s was made up of all nationalities enjoying the voice of this gifted man - not fighting, but laughing and crying together in harmony, so it proves there is hope for us all.

ALAS, Luciano Pavarotti is dead, but he lives on through his voice on disc, record and video.
The earthly loss of this man will be the gain of the heavenly choir.
Whether you believe it not, it is nice to think that he may well be "belting" it out to the great joy of the listeners.
Pavarotti proved to the ordinary man or woman that ability will win the day in whatever profession they qualify.
