IN your article "Chippies vie for best in county title" (Echo, Aug 30), you say: "The shops will be visited by a mystery judge who will score on factors such as customer service, hygiene, approaches to sustainable sourcing and staff training."
Should we assume that the quality of their chippies' products is not a major consideration? And how does a mystery judge assess staff training while remaining a mystery?
