WITH regards to the letter about the ban on smoking from Mrs J Lawler (HAS, Aug 23). I was a chain-smoker of 60 a day and struggled to stop, to become what she describes as an anti-passive and smoking wallah.
It was very difficult until my brother and mother both died of cancer brought on by cigarette smoke.
