GOOD leadership quickly filters down to everybody and is noticeable in their faces and attitude. It brings success and breeds more success.
We all like to be associated with that.
I couldn't help thinking this while looking around Marks & Spencer as I held myself in readiness for when wife Sylvia needed to call on my fashion expertise.
It is not difficult to think of examples where the same process works in reverse with poor leadership, and is glaringly obvious to everybody but those who set the standards by remote control. It brings despondency; also fast breeding. No one wants to be associated with that.
