HAVING read with much amusement George Appleby's further contribution regarding "Food for thought" (HAS, Aug 13), I would like to share a few thoughts of my own.
1. Why does sour cream have a sellby date?
2. What does an occasional table do for the rest of the time?
3. Why did Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
4. If all sponges were removed from the oceans would they be deeper?
5. Why shouldn't sleeping dogs tell the truth like most of us do?
6. Why is there only one Monopolies Commission?
