TWO topics seem to emerge in Hear All Sides when Iraq is discussed.

One is when we should pull out of the mess we have created there, and the other is the personality of George Galloway, the Respect MP.

If the continued occupation is going to do any good there is a case for remaining. The evidence seems to me to be that no useful purpose is being served. This leads me to the conclusion that we should plan to get out as soon as possible, having regard to the minimisation of losses to our service personnel.

As to Mr Galloway, he is a maverick who appeared to lack elementary common sense when he chose to have dealings with Saddam Hussein.

Those who want this MP to be ostracised are exposing themselves to be intolerant of anybody who does not conform. I would prefer Mr Galloway's company to theirs.
