IT is becoming almost a daily occurrence for TV and radio to announce that another serviceman has been killed in Iraq or Afghanistan.

These deaths do not arise because the Armed Forces are defending this country from external attack, but from one man's servile obedience to another country, namely former Prime Minister Tony Blair doing the bidding of US President George Bush.

The British people also suffer, through acts of terrorism within the country, because of the actions of these two men.

We have had Mr Blair, knowing he could no longer convince people he had acted on their behalf, resigning from British politics and taking up another cause of Mr Bush, convincing the Palestinians that what the Israelis are doing in the Middle East is in the interests of all.

If, as many people are quick to point out, Mr Blair will find a solution to the Arab/Jewish problem, why did he not start to find a solution first in areas where British servicemen are being killed as a result of his and Mr Bush's actions?

Surely this should have been his starting point, and not again being the handrag of Mr Bush.
