SO the EU has said it wants the UK to pay a multi-billion pound exit bill. Fair enough I say to get out of this corrupt organisation and obtain the UK’s independence in a world full of opportunities to thrive.
The UK should simply take the indefensible £12bn per year foreign aid budget and send it to the EU for the next few years until the bill is paid. The UK tax payer would not notice the difference as this money is already budgeted for and was going to be wasted anyway.
If we surprise the EU with our generosity then we could have an amicable separation by Christmas. The UK then moves on to potential new trade deals with the US, Japan, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and India etc.
Wouldn’t that be a lovely present for a country with a very bright future outside the failing EU? Current deadlock solved.
