FROM Saltburn to Darlington, and all places inbetween, Stevie D is a familiar sight and sound. He is a Scouse busker who likes to get his crowd involved in his music. This photograph of him was taken by John Mannick of Darlington when he was in full flight performing Imagine by John Lennon.
John Mannick is a member of The Northern Echo's Camera Club, which is for people who love taking digital photographs. It is open to anyone, regardless of skill or equipment, and it meets monthly at the Echo's head office in Priestgate. September's meeting was last night, where the Echo's photographic co-ordinator, Sarah Caldecott, revealed who had won the £50 monthly competition.
The club also has an excellent Facebook site where members showcase their images.
