I RANG the NHS 111 service at 5.15pm on August 26, just to have a word with a triage nurse.
I was told someone would ring back. I got a voicemail left at 12.30am on August 27. No wonder people wait at accident and emergency departments.
I think this service is not fit for purpose and should be scrapped.
I personally will never ring it again.
